Are Kidmerry products tested by third-party labs?

Yes. Kidmerry supports independent third-party product testing to help ensure our wooden toys meet applicable safety and compliance requirements for different markets. Depending on the product type, target market, and customer requirements, testing can be arranged through internationally recognized laboratories such as SGS, TÜV, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas (BV).

Quality Assurance System

Kidmerry’s quality assurance system combines strict internal quality control with independent third-party testing, providing dual-layer quality assurance.

Our internal quality control process covers the entire production cycle through three key stages:

• Incoming Quality Control (IQC): All incoming raw materials are inspected for factors such as wood moisture content, surface defects, cracks, and other quality concerns, helping ensure quality is controlled from the source.
• In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Semi-finished products are regularly inspected throughout production to identify and correct issues promptly, ensuring that each production stage meets our quality requirements.
• Final Quality Control (FQC): Finished products undergo 100% final inspection before packaging and shipment to ensure that every product meets our quality requirements.

Third-Party Testing Laboratories

Based on customer requirements and target markets, we can coordinate product testing through the following internationally recognized third-party laboratories:

• SGS
• TÜV
• Intertek
• Bureau Veritas (BV)

Customers may also designate another accredited third-party laboratory for testing, and we will provide full support throughout the process.

Testing Scope

Depending on the product category and target market requirements, third-party testing may cover the following areas:

• Physical & Mechanical Properties: Including small parts testing, sharp edge and sharp point testing, tension and torque testing, drop testing, dynamic strength testing, and other applicable assessments.
• Chemical Composition Analysis: Testing for the migration of certain elements, including lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium, arsenic, selenium, barium, and antimony, as well as phthalates, formaldehyde emissions, and other applicable chemical requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

Our products are tested to support compliance with major toy safety and regulatory requirements, including:

• EN 71: European Toy Safety Standard
• ASTM F963: U.S. Toy Safety Standard
• CPSIA: Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act
• REACH: EU Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals

Customized Testing Support

For customers who require additional verification, Kidmerry can coordinate testing with a customer-designated third-party laboratory and provide the corresponding test reports and certification documents.

For applicable shipments, we can also provide a complete compliance documentation package, which may include Declarations of Conformity (DoC), third-party test reports, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and FSC certification documents, as applicable.
